About O3 Biotech

Having studied the three main vectors of disease, O3 Biotech founders recognised the need to create the best livestock environment and the best nutrition through cleaner air, feed and water supplies.

O3 Biotech has worked on feed solutions for several years, initially focused on finished feeds, but now further up the supply chain. It is developing products that increase the quality of feed and are cheaper and better for the environment: improved nutrition and product shelf life, reduced reliance on chemicals and a lower carbon footprint.

O3 Biotech’s solutions treat agri-feed on an industrial scale – 10’s of tonnes per hour. The production of agri-feed globally is measured in billions of tons and where O3 Biotech can make a real difference.

Through extensive research and development in treating macro-feed components and finished feeds to control Entero cultures, salmonella and mycotoxins, O3 Biotech have validated the engineering and science through successful testing verified by independent laboratories, including some of the most reputable establishments in the world.

Innovation does not stop at agri-feed. O3 Biotech provides solutions that replace natural ozone levels (70 ppb), which rapidly decreases within interior environments, providing sanitary air supplies as fresh as external air.

We use a range of high end test equipment to compliment expert test services which enables us to take the laboratory to the field or bring the field to the laboratory.

O3 Biotech welcomes you to the world of ozone innovation.

O3 Biotech's Journey

2015
Ozone Model
The journey begins

Started ‘Ozone in Air and Water’ research at two Somerset poultry farms, empirical research. Validation provided via Bristol Uni. Obtained Home Office license, set up experiments, Ozone in Agri Sector Drinking Water used against Campylobacter food poisoning in humans.

2016
Shaking Hands
Draper Biotech Is Formed

A visionary in improving conditions for agricultural livestock teamed up with an exceptional scientist, a gifted engineer, research and development into ozone as an environmentally safe alternative to traditional chemical treatments.

2018
Water treatment for cows
Effective Water Treatment Established

Ozone in water, the battle against Campylobacter, continuance of Bristol University study introduces electro-chemical engineer and the industrial diamond water/ozone generator. Drinking water study at University of Naples examining water buffalo calves (Cryptosporidium, Guardia, nematodes and other parasites). Water buffalo milk is used for the commercial production of mozzarella cheese.

2017
Air Handling Unit with pufification
It's Prototype Time

Developed first prototypes of a fresh air maintenance system for poultry house interiors. Offers control over quantitative and qualitative air supplies via Oɜ air infusion @50ppb. The 3 vector treatment yields significant improvement on the litter as a result of supporting a stable microbiome.

2020
On-site Ozone test house
Live Application

Ozone at Test Houses– analyses of test and control houses data (feed additives/ medications i.e. Coccidiostats) confirms negligible affects, of on-farm feed oxidation, for potency and efficacy of additives.

2019
Air Handling Unit
Treating Commercial Agri-Feed

Ozone in feed: establish first round tests for livestock feed macro-components. Objectives: reduction in risks of livestock exposure to feed borne pathogens (Salmonella, E. Coli, Coccidia) entering the animal feed and human food chain. Draper Biotech membership of Centre of Innovation Excellence in Livestock conference produces introduction to and commercial interest from industrial leaders in agri-feed production.

2021
Chapman Mill I
Company Rebranding, O3Biotech is born and becomes independent of draperGROUP.

Working with some of the largest animal feed producers in the world to design (patent pending) a solution to change the world’s approach to chemical treatments of agri-feed. Clean ozone treatment will replace the traditional treatments, leaving no residues. Draper Biotech membership of Centre of Innovation Excellence in Livestock conference produces introduction to, and commercial Interest from industrial leaders in agri-feed production.

2022
Chapman Mill Testing Begins

Chapman Mill, our first prototype, begins preliminary production. O3 Biotech have developed a proprietary process to apply Ozone in-line with existing mill processes.  The purified feed is tested on-site within our own testing facility.

2023
Feed Samples
Stage II Sample Testing

Our target is to produce samples to prove the effect of ozone to our customers mixture poultry mash or individual ingredients.

2024
On-Site Ozone Generation Unit
On-Site Ozone Generation Unit Ready

We have simplified the process so that we can adapt into any existing feed mill process at the central mixer or conditioner.  First field application running Q2 2024.
